How to play Adenor

Adenor is a free browser game about merchants, not heroes. You win by buying goods where they are cheap, carrying them to where they are dear, and reading the market better than the trader beside you. There is no combat, no premium currency, and nothing to buy with real money. Everything below plays in your browser, with no download.

The goal

Grow your purse. Prices differ from city to city and drift over time, so the same sack of wheat is worth less in a farming town than in a mining one. Every coin you make comes from spotting that gap and reaching it before it closes.

The loop, step by step

  1. Arrive in a city and read its market

    Standing in a city opens its market live. This is the only place you see true, current prices. Everywhere else you trade on memory, which goes stale by the hour.

  2. Find a gap worth running

    Scan for a good that is cheap where you are and dear somewhere you have seen. The spread between the two, minus travel cost, is your profit.

  3. Send a messenger for what you cannot see

    Prices are local. Send a messenger to learn a distant market so you can act on it before the news spreads to everyone else.

  4. Move the goods before prices drift

    Walk for free and slow, or hire a wagon or horse for speed. Your caravan crosses the map in real time while the world keeps moving.

  5. Sell dear, then do it bigger

    Sell into the higher market, pocket the spread, and reinvest. Bank goods in a city warehouse when your back is full. Wealth compounds on good decisions.
